Get to know Acupuncturist Iana Ibrahim, MOA, LAc, who practices in Bel Air, Maryland.

Iana Ibrahim, a licensed acupuncturist, is the Clinical Director of Advanced Acupuncture, LLC in Bel Air, Maryland. “My philosophy is to improve total well-being through personalized patient care.”

Advanced Acupuncture, LLC specializes in treating back pain, neck pain, anxiety, depression, headaches, chronic fatigue, stress, allergies, arthritis, infertility, and more using acupuncture, herbs, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The natural wellness programs offered at the practice are designed to provide a safe, cost effective, and completely drug-free solution to treating the whole patient, both mind and body. In doing so, patients can live the life they want and deserve, free from pain or other debilitating symptoms.

Academically, Iana graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the New York College of Health Professions. She then went on to earn her Master of Acupuncture degree from the same educational venue in 2005

Licensed by the Maryland Board of Acupuncture, she is certified in micro-needling acupuncture (cosmetic acupuncture). She is also a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society, the American Society of Acupuncturists, and the Harford Chamber County of Commerce. 

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of Traditional Oriental Medicine. It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncturists treat a variety of physical and psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain, digestive disorders, and infertility.
