Dr. Andres Gantous is the founder of Toronto Facial Plastic Surgery. After graduating with top honors from medical school, Dr. Gantous went on to pursue a six-year surgical training program in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles and the University of Toronto. He was then a fellow in Cranio-Facial Surgery in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Gantous established his Facial Plastic Surgery practice in Toronto in 1994. Since then, he has specialized in a full range of facial cosmetic and facial plastic reconstructive procedures. He has achieved international recognition for his expertise in primaryrevision and reconstructive rhinoplasty as well as incisionless otoplasty and rejuvenation surgery of the face.

Dr. Gantous is on staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto. He is an Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto and his ability to educate and guide his students, residents and fellows has earned him “best teacher award” nominations year after year.

Highly recognized by his peers, Dr. Gantous spends a significant part of the year traveling and speaking at facial plastic surgery courses and meetings across the world. He is a strong believer in sharing knowledge and experience, teaching what he has learned to others and constantly learning from his colleagues.

Dr. Gantous is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

A believer in strong mental and physical health, Dr. Gantous personally enjoys painting, drawing and martial arts when not in surgery. He is an avid reader and is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French and dabbles in a few other languages. Dr. Gantous enjoys spending time with his three adult children, family and friends.
