Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Emily K. Sandlin, who serves patients in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dr. Sandlin is a licensed psychiatrist in practice with Trinity Springs Pavilion, a psychiatric hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She is responsible for diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders through the incorporation of medical, psychological, and social knowledge.

A 2015 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Sandlin went on to perform her residency in psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2019.

Following her education, she attained board certification in psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.

Partnering with a number of professional organizations, Dr. Sandlin is a member of the American Psychological Association, the North Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, and the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
