Dr. Tróchez, a Honduran native, moved to the United States for college in 2007 to commence her journey in becoming a physician. She completed her Bachelors of Science with a minor in chemistry at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She then attended LSUHSC- Shreveport where she received her Medical Degree. After medical school, she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s teaching hospital in Mobile, Alabama. Her deep appreciation for the south, combined with a desire to practice in a culturally diverse area, led her to Houston!
Her passion truly lies in helping women of all ages feel comfortable, heard and well taken care of. Dr. Tróchez believes in the importance of keeping up with current medical guidelines to provide her patients with the most accurate information and has a commitment to providing a judgement free zone in her office where all questions and concerns are valid. In addition, she also provides gynecological care for acute and chronic problems that can arise in non-pregnant women of all ages.
