Dr. Kasendorf is a highly experienced osteopathic physician & physiatrist who sees patients at his private practice in La Jolla, California. With a broad educational background, Dr. Kasendorf completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, followed by his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. As for his training, he did a medical internship at Plainview Hospital in Long Island, and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Nassau University Medical Center in New York. 

After completing his residency, he served as medical director for his pain management and rehabilitation clinics in New York. Prior to moving to the San Diego area, he served as an associate program director for the Long Beach Medical Center before opening his practice in La Jolla.

Committed to expanding his knowledge and skills in the areas of pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Kasendorf holds board certifications in both pain medicine & physical medicine and rehabilitation from the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOBPMR). The AOBPMR is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the treatment of patients with physical impairments or disabilities.
