In 2020, Dr. Brodeur graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from UConn School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut. She is currently a dental resident completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the same educational venue. 

The Advanced Education in General Dentistry program is a one-year (optional second-year) residency with special emphasis in clinical general dentistry. The residency is designed to refine and enhance the resident’s clinical skills and scientific knowledge base in order to improve the practice of general dentistry.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
