A Sumter native, Dr. DuBose graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in 1996. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia in 2000. He completed his residency in family medicine at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in 2003, followed by a fellowship in geriatrics at the University of Connecticut Health Consortium in 2005. After completing his fellowship, he returned to Sumter and opened the area's first geriatric practice. In 2019, he launched Sumter's first concierge practice, open to adults 50 years of age and older.
