Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. It is hard to say exactly without knowing the duration and severity of what’s going on. As a general rule of thumb, I advise people to give it at least 3-6 treatments before they start seeing good results, though it can and often does happen quicker than that. Dr. Lima, a licensed acupuncturist, is the Founder of Lima’s Acupuncture & Herbal Center in Eureka, California. She offers an integrative and holistic approach to health needs with services such as acupuncture, myofascial release, and more.
Well-equipped to help support her patients with a wide variety of medical needs, her specialties include pain management, women’s health, facial rejuvenation, mental and emotional wellness, medical Qi Gong, and herbal medicine.
In 2019, Dr. Lima graduated with dual degrees (Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chinese Medicine & Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine) from Five Branches, University, Santa Cruz. Shortly thereafter, she became a licensed acupuncturist and returned to Eureka, where she was born and raised, all to be of service to a community she knows and loves.
In order to stay up to date in her field, she remains an active member of the Soroptimist International of Humboldt Bay.
