I, Ms. Gibson, am a school psychologist in Stafford, Virginia. As a school psychologist, I take pride in advocating and ensuring all students receive appropriate support and services that will effectively meet their educational needs. I find passion in counseling at-risk students in addition to problem solving and collaborating with school-based personnel about student academic and/or behavioral concerns. In my occupation, I have been heavily involved in administering evaluations, developing functional behavioral assessments/behavioral intervention plans, creating 504 plans, and attending to Committee on Special Education and Response to Intervention meetings. With these relevant experiences, I have been given the opportunity to expand and execute my skills further and gain practice to become a lifelong learner in this career field.
