He went on to complete his residency in Larkin Palm Springs Hospital in Hialeah, Florida, where he acquired beneficial experience with trauma related surgery, reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery, and total joint replacements. While completing his residency, he was a guest lecturer for Palm Springs Hospital on several occasions, presenting on complicated topics such as Charcot arthropathy, diabetic foot ulcers, and fungal infections of the lower extremity.
