Dr. Jolita Auguste is a board-certified general surgeon at Prime Surgicare. She completed fellowship training in advanced endoscopy and minimally-invasive surgery with a focus on bariatric surgery. She performs laparoscopic and robotic sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass, in addition to laparoscopic GI operations including hernia surgery, gallbladder removal, appendectomy, colon surgery, and acid reflux surgery. 

She previously served as a Locums Tenens physician as a returning staff physician at Canton-Potsdam Medical Center, Potsdam, NY, an affiliate of the St. Lawrence Health System; and Huggins Hospital of Wolfeboro, NH. 

Dr. Auguste completed her fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery and advanced endoscopy at Penn Medicine at Princeton Health; where she also acquired her certification in robotic surgery using the Da Vinci Xi system. She completed her general surgery training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn,NY.  Dr. Auguste has trained in prominent inner city metropolitan hospitals, including Kings County Medical Center, University Hospital of Brooklyn, Brooklyn Veterans Affairs Hospital, Richmond University Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
