Is it okay to take Ibuprofen/Tylenol while using neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic solution?
It is important to take ibuprofen since it is for pain and anti-inflammatory as well so it will help with the redness and pain behind the ear. However, it's not recommended if you have high blood pressure or kidney problems. If yes, you need to switch to Tylenol. Neomycin, polymyxin B, and hydrocortisone are very good ear drops in that case. There's no drug interaction with ibuprofen or Tylenol.
