Dr. Lutz is a licensed chiropractor seeking to reduce pain and discomfort through manipulation and adjustment of the spine. She sees patients at Carpe Diem Chiropractic, a southeast Florida chiropractic center with offices in Fort Lauderdale and Plantation.
Relieving patients’ chronic pain and treating musculoskeletal conditions, her areas of interest include treating the cervical spine and alleviating patient’s migraine headaches. After suffering herself for many years, she is passionate about helping young athletes with pain relief and regain their strength. Her adjusting techniques include Full Spine, Thompson, Gonstead, Suboccipital Technique, and Activator, as well as being certified in Physical Therapy.
After Dr. Lutz’s many collegiate sport injuries, she developed back pain and debilitating migraines. Her experience with her sports injuries led her to the healthcare field. She graduated from Towson University with her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science in 2017. She pursued her post-graduate education at Life University, graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2020 and achieving academic honors of Magna Cum Laude.
Attributing her success to her parents for constantly pushing her to succeed, she is a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. It is a non-profit national and international testing organization for the chiropractic profession that develops, administers, analyzes, scores, and reports results from various examinations.
Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Lutz enjoys visiting her family in Baltimore, Maryland. One can always find her being active outdoors and soaking up the Florida sunshine. Her favorite place to vacation is the Caribbean.
