Get to know Dentist Dr. Laura Branigan, who serves patients in Ocean, New Jersey.

Specializing in all aspects of general, cosmetic, and family dentistry, Dr. Branigan and her outstanding staff have been proud to serve the oral health care needs of Ocean Township and its surrounding New Jersey communities for nearly two decades. 

Exemplary patient care, outstanding aesthetic results, compassion and integrity are the cornerstones of the dental practice. Its mission is to provide the highest quality dental care to patients through the use of the best available technology, in a comfortable, caring, and positive environment.

“When I see a patient, I pretend it is me sitting in the chair. Having gone through my share of dental procedures, I am very empathetic to their situation. I love my patients and I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve them. Last but not least, I have the best staff in the world. You can only be as good as the people that help you!” expressed Dr. Branigan.

Raised in a family of dentists, her passion for dentistry started early on. Her parents had a family practice in which she got early exposure and decided to follow in their footsteps together with two of her siblings.

In 1994, Dr. Branigan graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC), where she was fortunate to work side by side with numerous specialists, learning first-hand state-of-the-art techniques and diverse treatment plan options. She continues to have strong bonds with some of these specialists, working together to offer the best care available.

Before opening her own practice in 2004, Dr. Branigan honed her skills as an associate in several outstanding dental practices throughout New Jersey. 

She keeps up with new technologies, materials and techniques by continually taking continuing education courses to improve her skills. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Branigan enjoys any kind of outdoor activity, including running, hiking, and biking, as well as writing, reading, doing yoga, meditating, cooking, baking, and traveling. Her favorite place to vacation is at the beach.
