Get to know Dr. Chin Se Kim, MD, a Pain Management Specialist serving patients in Anaheim, California. 

Dr. Chin Se Kim is a Pain Management Specialist in serving Anaheim and the surrounding communities at his private practice where he specializes in pain management and acupuncture. He has focused his practice on musculoskeletal injury, pain management, electrodiagnosis (EMG/NCS), physical therapy, sports medicine, and rehabilitation, as well as internal medicine and regenerative medicine. 

Dr. Kim received his Doctor of Medicine from UCLA School of Medicine Helms Medical Institute. He went on to complete a residency and internship at New York University Hospital. As a pain management specialist, Dr. Kim serves as a consultant to other physicians but is often the principal treating physician, providing care at various levels; such as treating the patient directly, prescribing medication, prescribing rehabilitative services, performing pain relieving procedures, counseling patients and families, directing a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with other healthcare providers, and providing consultative services. 

Dr. Kim is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Dr. Kim currently teaches USC University Hospital Residents in sports medicine and pain management.
