Dr. Naqvi is a Psychiatrist currently practicing in private practice. In regards to his education, he graduated with his medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College. He then completed his Psychiatry residency with the Elmhurst Hospital, furthering his training, he completed a Psychiatry fellowship with Albert Einstein College of Medicine followed by an Addictionology fellowship from Harvard Medical School.
His patients have excellent experiences with him, one stating, “Dr. Asad is an intelligent and knowledgeable Psychiatrist. He is often slammed with patients, being one of the few Medicaid psychiatrists in the area, but he knows his medicine. He is not a Therapist or a Psychologist, so do not expect him to ask you about your childhood. He did ask that I pay regular visits to a Psychologist as well as him. My appointments were quick, but I got the correct medication and his staff was always available when I needed them.”
