Lindsey Norton, ATC, PTA, is a well-versed Athletic Trainer-Certified and Physical Therapy Assistant with Papillion La-Vista High School in Papillon, Nebraska. She and her colleagues provide athletic training (AT) services to PapioMonarchs athletes and educate future athletic trainers. Lindsey attended the UNO Graduate Athletic Training Program (ATP) in Omaha, NE, and was awarded her athletic training degree in 2014. She additionally holds a physical assistant degree acquired at the Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA, in 2007. As an Athletic Trainer, Lindsey is trained to assess, diagnose, prevent, and treat sports injuries in patients of all ages, and refer those patients to further services if needed. Athletic trainers must complete specialized training in order to help each patient maximize function and improve quality of life.
