Academically, Dr. Saltzburg began her career as a pediatric neurology nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before beginning her medical career at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is the only graduate to have ever completed a triple-degree program as a trainee, obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree while simultaneously working towards her Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) in Healthcare Administration & Master of Arts degree (MA) in Biomedical Ethics.
On a professional level, she is an active member of the International Society for Hair Restoration, the Union League of Philadelphia, the American Medical Association, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, the New Jersey Osteopathic Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians, and the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine.
As a member of the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), Dr. Saltzburg continues to research and train with other top hair transplant surgeons in the world. She conducts research and education pertaining to injectable biologics & regenerative medicine for hair growth stimulation and oral supplementation for postpartum female hair loss & testosterone-induced male hair loss.
Licensed to practice medicine in multiple states, she travels nationally frequently to educate, train, and treat patients from all over the country. Happily married, she and her husband, Hunter, have two French bulldogs at home in Longport, New Jersey. In her free time, she enjoys professional tennis and MMA fighting.
