Martha H. Viera, MD, is an internationally certified dermatologist working at Flores Dermatology as well as her own private practice in Coral Gables, Florida. Flores Dermatology specializes in a variety of both medical and cosmetic dermatological procedures including MOHS surgery for skin cancers, treatment for skin tags, laser hair removal, and other treatments for the skin and hair. Dr. Viera has a career that spans countries including the United States and Venezuela. During her time in Venezuela, Dr. Viera served as the La Arenera Outpatient Clinic as Medical Director in the city of Miranda, on the outskirts of Caracas (where she is a native). She is a reviewer for the International Journal of Dermatology, and has published numerous articles in two languages (English and Spanish) for the journal Cosmetic Dermatology and international conferences. She continues to serve as a volunteer faculty member for the University of Miami. Well-known for her conservative approaches to dermatologic care, Dr. Viera is well-known in her field for her compassion, over a 30 year-plus career.

An excellent dermatologist, Dr. Viera is in private practice, seeing patients at her own solo practice offices in Coral Gables. She specializes in both cosmetic and medical Dermatology, including filler, botulinum toxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveu), biostimulation (Sculptra, Radiesse), Laser procedures (Fotona, Roher) that includes Intense Pulse light, pico-nanotechnology for dark spots and tattoo removal, acne scars, acne, rosacea among others. Dr. Martha Viera is a dermatologist and cutaneous surgeon. Born in Venezuela, she finished medical school in 2001 at Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. Following medical school, she completed one year of general surgery and graduated from dermatology residency at University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. With more than 20 years’ of experience in the field of medicine, Dr. Viera has worked in several renowned health centers, including Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fl. and Hospital of the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. Additionally, she has been featured in close to 50 prestigious international publications and has been invited to speak at more than 40 conferences around the world about her expertise in dermatology and cutaneous surgery.
She is a volunteer faculty at the Department of Dermatology at University of Miami where she gives her time to teach the residents in training. She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Woman’s Dermatologic Society, Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Venezuelan Society of Dermatology, and the International Society of Dermatology, American Society of Laser Medicine.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Viera enjoys meditation, yoga, and weight training. She is also a passionate photographer and has presented her work and art into several exhibits in Miami. Currently Doctor Viera is also trained in Integrative Dermatology where she integrates wester with functional dermatology to offer the best care to her patients.
