A determined obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Nguyen, an esteemed member of the Frisco Obstetrics and Gynecology team in Frisco, Texas, embodies the very essence of compassionate and empathetic healthcare. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Nguyen is a proud alumni of Baylor University, she pursued her medical education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Her relentless pursuit of knowledge and expertise led her to John Peter Smith (JPS) County Hospital in Fort Worth, where she honed her skills as an obstetrician and gynecologist. During her time at JPS, she had the privilege of caring for girls and women from diverse backgrounds and cultures, solidifying her status as a well-rounded medical professional.

An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Beyond her medical expertise, Dr. Nguyen is a staunch advocate for diversity and accessibility in healthcare. Fluent in Vietnamese, she volunteers at events aimed at delivering healthcare to underserved populations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Her altruistic spirit extends to her involvement in the Vietnamese Health Professional Association and her valuable contributions at Hope Clinic in McKinney – a Free Health Clinic that serves the community.

Among her other roles, her affiliations with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, and Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery speak volumes about her commitment to delivering top-notch healthcare services.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
