During her undergraduate studies, she also pursued extended education at the University of Hertfordshire, focusing on Electrical Engineering and Human Biology in 1995. Earlier, her academic pursuits included an Associate’s Degree in Dutch Studies and Art History from Rijksuniversiteit te Leiden in 1993.

Transitioning from engineering to healthcare, Dr. Ward received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. Her commitment to excellence was recognized through her induction into the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society and the receipt of the PCOM Student Gift Scholarship. In 2012, she further advanced her expertise by obtaining a Master of Public Health Degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Ward began her medical career as an internist and hospitalist, gaining vital experience in acute care at various institutions, including University Primary Care and the Women’s Health Center. In 2019, she founded Haven Medical Home, PC, establishing a practice that prioritizes compassionate and personalized care. Her role as Associate Medical Director at Regency Hospice, along with her recent launch of Ascension Longevity and Wellness in 2024, underscores her unwavering commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Ward is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the Society of Hospital Medicine, and the American Association of Physician Leaders. She has been a medical expert witness since 2016 and is a sought-after speaker, notably at the American Osteopathic Association Conference in 2000.
