Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Dr. Ju attended Rutgers University – New Brunswick where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. Following his undergraduate studies, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2019, and continued to pursue his passion for endodontics at the same institution.
On a professional level, he is a current member of the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists. He has recently received an award at the 2021 annual AAE conference for his research on innovative use of PeriAcryl 90 cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive in endodontic microsurgery.
Endodontics is the dental specialty concerned with the study and treatment of the infected and inflamed dental pulp.
