Educated in the United States, Dr. Al-Qawasmi graduated with her medical degree at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2015, and completed her residency in psychiatry at the same educational venue in 2020.

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
