Get to know Pediatric and Adult Foot and Ankle Surgeon Dr. Lucian M. Feraru, who serves patients throughout the State of California.

Dr. Feraru is a pediatric and adult foot and ankle surgeon treating sports injuries, ankle sprains, flat feet, clubfeet, toe-walking, as well as foot and ankle deformities. Treating all pediatric foot and ankle pathologies, he has experience in reconstruction procedures with fellowship focus on pediatric deformity correction.

In California, he is affiliated with AltaMed General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles; AltaMed Medical Group – Westlake, 3rd Street; AltaMed Medical and Dental Group – Commerce, Goodrich; AltaMed Medical Group – Commerce; AltaMed Medical Group – Huntington Park; and Adventist Health White Memorial.

In regards to his educational background, Dr. Feraru graduated with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2018. He then went on to perform his pediatric foot and ankle fellowship at the Pediatric Orthopedic Center in New Jersey, where he spent countless hours under the guidance of Dr Mark Solomon, Dr Mark Rieger, and the rest of the group.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Holding various certifications, Dr. Feraru is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.

Foot and ankle surgery is a sub-specialty of orthopedics and podiatry that deals with the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of disorders of the foot and ankle. A foot and ankle surgeon diagnoses and treats various injuries and diseases within the bones, joints, and muscles of the foot and ankle.
