I am a psychotherapist practicing in Palm Desert, CA. Life can be hectic, overwhelming, and downright difficult sometimes. I have set out in my life to do whatever I can in my little corner of the world, to help individuals and families overcome difficult challenges, fear, and to achieve the change and growth they desire. I want to help you to become aware of what you may feel deficient in or impoverished of, and help you find hope, faith, and understanding. I want to walk beside you on your path to discovering greatness, peace, and life-affirming energy.
I use a variety of techniques to help you and work with you as a partner to your success and maintain a safe environment for us to share jointly. Working together as a team, I can help you to gain insight and problem-solving skills. My specialty is helping people overcome childhood pain, abuse, and trauma. More generally, I can help you with depression & anxiety, crisis situations, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, communication skills, relationship issues, parenting and co-parenting, self-esteem, self-injury, suicide, and personal and spiritual growth. My clinical focus also includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Hypnosis.
Whatever you might be experiencing, I want to help you to understand it better--to find necessary solutions and opportunities for growth and to learn to embrace your most authentic and beautiful self. And in case you've forgotten how to laugh, I want to help you rediscover that too! I look forward to meeting and working with you, so give me a call!
