Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Ryan K. Breuer, who serves patients in Buffalo, New York.

A dedicated pediatrician, Dr. Breuer is affiliated with UBMD Pediatrics, practicing at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital in Western New York. With a passion for providing comprehensive care and multidisciplinary support, he specializes in evaluating and treating critically ill children and young adults with varying degrees of end-organ dysfunction and failure.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, he completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care from Duke Children’s Hospital, a residency in pediatrics at UCLA – Mattel Children’s Hospital, and an internship in pediatrics at the same institution. He holds an MD from the Stony Brook School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society from Cornell University.

Dr. Breuer’s educational background reflects a strong foundation in medical expertise and an ongoing commitment to continuous learning. With a Medical Educators certificate from the Royal College of Physicians and certificates in Healthcare Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and Quality Improvement from Duke University Medical Center, he brings a comprehensive skill set to his practice.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Beyond delivering exceptional medical care, he is actively involved in the supervision and education of medical students, resident physicians, and fellows in pediatric critical care medicine.
