She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Applied Arts from San Diego State University, as well as Associate degrees in Science and Arts from the Grossmont Cuyamaca Community District.
Maintaining fellowship status, she is a Fellow of the American Cancer Society (FACS), and Fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA).
