Dr. Lai is currently dedicated to advancing his medical career as an interventional spine fellow at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, an esteemed public academic health science center located in Dallas, Texas. 

His educational path commenced with the successful completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree at The University of Texas at Austin in 2015, where he laid the groundwork for his future in the medical field. Building on this, Dr. Lai pursued his passion for medicine by obtaining a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from UNT Health Science Center in 2019.

To deepen his clinical experience, Dr. Lai embarked on an internship in transitional year at Loyola Medicine at MacNeal Hospital, a vital step in his medical journey that extended from 2019 to 2020. Following this, he embarked on a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident from July 2020 to July 2023, showcasing his leadership and commitment to the field.
