Born and raised in Central Florida, Dr. Huffman earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa followed by his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine Degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he was awarded with a distinct honor in clinical excellence. He then completed a comprehensive three-year surgical program at the Miami VA Medical Center.

During residency, Dr. Huffman underwent extensive training in reconstructive rearfoot procedures, including ankle stabilization and ligament reconstruction, and gained significant experience performing minimally-invasive procedures for bunion correction. He credits his program with providing access to the orthopedic field’s latest research findings and cultivating within him a knowledge-driven ideology that he carries over to Modern Foot & Ankle.

An Orlando area native, Dr. Huffman is proud to care for the community that helped shape him as a doctor. He maintains affiliations with respected medical facilities, including AdventHealth Altamonte Springs Hospital, AdventHealth Apopka Hospital, Oviedo Medical Center, and Maitland Surgery Center, further reinforcing his dedication to delivering top-notch podiatric care.

Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Huffman is an active member of both the Florida Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. In addition, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, which offers a comprehensive board qualification and certification process in podiatric medicine and orthopedics.
