A committed family physician, Dr. Gomez has had a remarkable journey, marked by a series of impactful roles and achievements in the healthcare and medical education fields.

His career at Wild Health began in October 2021 when he assumed the position of Chief of Staff, a role he continues to hold as of the present. In this capacity, Dr. Gomez has been instrumental in directing strategic business initiatives from initial brainstorming through execution stages, collaborating with senior leadership; leading high-level strategy and executive meetings with senior leadership, identifying team priorities and breaking down strategies into specific quarterly, monthly, and weekly objectives; tracking progress and managing projects, implementing new, custom methods for progress tracking and metrics; organizing and facilitating leadership offsites, working with stakeholders to implement action items; enhancing employee engagement by communicating leadership strategy, decisions, and initiatives, serving as a liaison between staff and senior leaders to address company climate and employee well-being; assisting in department-specific financial modeling, translating financial goals into department-level Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and ensuring departments meet their financial OKRs; standardizing the onboarding process for all clinical staff, including formulating hiring projections and overseeing capacity planning; collaborating with multiple licensing vendors to efficiently credential and license all physicians; expanding medical services into a comprehensive telemedicine primary care clinic; serving as a voting delegate for the Quality Improvement Committee and assuming the role of committee chairperson; contributing to the establishment and operation of a ketamine clinic; spearheading initiatives aimed at increasing revenue per patient while simultaneously raising the Lifetime Value (LTV) of patients; collaborating with clinical teams to enhance the efficiency of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system; booasting patient engagement and product utilization, resulting in an impressive Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70; playing a pivotal role in facilitating the companywide transition from a cash-pay to an insurance payment model across all 50 states; creating and leading clinical rotations for medical students in the field of precision medicine; developing and implementing a Business-to-Business approach to engage employers; and ensuring a seamless acquisition process by LivePerson, a publicly traded company, and contributing to achieving an exceptional eNPS score of 67.

Originally from Palos Verdes Estates, California, Dr. Gomez completed his high school education at Bishop Montgomery High School, where he honed his foundational knowledge and skills from August 2006 to June 2010. Subsequently, he embarked on his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, General, and graduating in the period spanning from September 2010 to June 2014. 

Building upon this academic foundation, Dr. Gomez pursued his medical aspirations, enrolling at the University of California, Riverside, to earn his Doctor of Medicine Degree. His medical education journey spanned from July 2015 to May 2020, equipping him with the essential healthcare skills to embark on his impactful career in the medical field.

Before his current role at Wild Health, Dr. Gomez served as the Director of Operations at Wild Health from June 2020 to October 2021; Founder of Healthcare Leadership Program from August 2018 to June 2020; Medical School Education Liaison of the California Emergency Medicine Resident Organization from February 2018 to June 2020; Founder of the San Bernardino Free Clinic from November 2015 to June 2020; as well as Chapter President, Alumni Hub Coordinator, and Regional Advocate of Global Brigades, Inc. at UC Riverside School of Medicine.
