Get to know Prosthodontist Dr. Reem Abi Hussein, who serves patients in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

A skilled prosthodontist, Dr. Hussein is a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Centar in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Whether it is replacing a single tooth, multiple teeth or full upper and lower arches, she offers patients a world class level of expertise and care.

For over 15 years, ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers have provided innovative and quality dental implant care to patients across the United States. Beginning her educational journey at Lebanese University, Dr. Hussein earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science and Geology. She then continued her education at the same institution, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. 

Later on, she pursued her Master of Science degree in Dentistry and completed her residency in prosthodontics at Louisiana University New Orleans.

Before joining the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center, Dr. Hussein worked as a dentist in private practice, where she provided quality dental care to patients in need.

Prosthodontics, also known as dental prosthetics or prosthetic dentistry, is the area of dentistry that focuses on dental prostheses. Prosthodontists specialize in replacing missing teeth and associated oral structures by determining the type of dental prostheses required, having customized dental prostheses manufactured, and fitting them in patients’ mouths. They also treat temporomandibular disorders and various issues associated with damaged and problematic teeth.

Dr. Hussein’s commitment to giving back to the community is evident in her continuous volunteer work with the Red Cross. She has also provided regular dental health checkups for students and refugees in Lebanon.

Her multilingualism has been an asset to her work, as she is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and American Sign Language. Her dedication to her patients and passion for dentistry is matched only by her love for reading and photography, which she enjoys in her free time.
