Get to know Dentist Dr. Jongwoo Joseph Park, who serves patients in Plano, Texas.

Invisalign certified, Dr. Park had been a practicing dentist in Southern California with Dr. Charles Park, and then moved to Plano, Texas to continue to strive for excellence in caring for patients’ dental needs at SC Dental Group.

SC Dental Group offers state-of-the-art technology and top-quality materials to provide patients with a rewarding and relaxing dental experience. The dental practice is dedicated to giving each patient exceptional service and a beautiful smile while addressing all of their dental health needs. 

Academically, Dr. Park received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with departmental honors from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. He then pursued a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Langone Dental Medicine. 

To stay on top of the latest techniques and procedures in dentistry, he has attended and continues to attend various Continuing Education courses.

Among his professional dental affiliations, he is an active member of the Global Dental Implant Academy, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
