Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Tola O. T’Sarumi, who serves patients in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Dr. T’Sarumi is a double board certified psychiatrist, addiction expert, and Emotional Wellness Strategist who helps professionals and physicians overcome addiction, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

As the Director of Dr. Tola T’Sarumi, LLC and Aesthetics + Mind MD, Dr. T’Sarumi blends mental wellness with aesthetic treatments, offering a holistic approach to personal well-being. Her use of the non-invasive, non-surgical Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy has been welcomed by patients looking for a non-drug, non-shock alternative for the treatment of depression.

Wearing multiple hats, Dr. T’Sarumi serves as the Psychiatrist in Charge of the North Belknap Adult Inpatient Program within McLean Hospital’s Division of Depression and Anxiety Disorders, while also holding a faculty position at Harvard Medical School. 

In her current capacity, she oversees patients grappling with substance use disorders and concurrent conditions like mood disorders, anxiety, and personality disorders. Her primary focus lies in the treatment of individuals with mood disorders, suicide tendencies, and addiction.

After graduating from Xavier University School of Medicine, Dr. T’Sarumi pursued her internship and residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center. Subsequently, she honed her expertise through a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Board certified in psychiatry and addiction psychiatry, Dr. T’Sarumi is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Among her professional affiliations, Dr. T’Sarumi is an esteemed member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders by conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications.
