Dr. Mustovich is an osteopathic orthopedic surgeon who has been working at Bassett Army Community Hospital since September of 2021.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Mustovich graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from John Carroll University in 2007. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Seton Hill in 2013.

Furthering his training, he performed his residency in general surgery at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center from July of 2013 until June of 2014. He also served as a flight surgeon with the 3rd Battalion 1st Infantry Division Combat Aviation Brigade in Fort Riley, Kansas from August of 2014 until June of 2016, and performed an additional residency in orthopedic surgery at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center from July of 2016 until June of 2021.

Orthopedic surgery is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and non-surgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
