Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jordan S. Terner, who serves patients in New York, New York.

A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Terner is affiliated with Manhattan Plastic Surgery, PLLC in New York City, New York. He specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body.

A New York City native, he attended Cornell University as a neuroscience major where he studied biological mechanisms of physical attractiveness. Upon graduating, he was accepted into the Humanities and Medicine early admission program at the Mount Sinai College of Medicine.

Subsequently, Dr. Terner was chosen to be a Doris Duke clinical research Fellow in the Yale University Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and completed his residency in plastic surgery at the coveted Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the highly competitive combined plastic and reconstructive surgery program.​​​​​​

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in plastic surgery through the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

In his professional experience, he published widely in the plastic surgery literature and spoke nationally and internationally on various topics in plastic and reconstructive surgery. During his training, he traveled internationally on various surgical missions to Africa and Central America.
