Her career goal is to become a clinician-scientist in an academic institution and bring evidence-based clinical practices to dental students and residents.

Pertaining to her educational pursuits, she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Ceara in Brazil in 2013, before earning her Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at the same educational venue in 2016 and 2019, respectively. While pursuing her postgraduate studies, she continued to practice dentistry in Brazil for 6 years.
