About

I'd like to introduce myself and share my story of how I started working in this incredible field of holistic medicine. After graduating from The Ohio State University with B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering in 1992, I started suffering from a myriad of digestive complaints which led to anemia, fatigue, and further endocrine issues. I saw many doctors and was given conventional medicine to treat my symptoms but no one could tell me what was causing my problem.

I was determined to figure out the root cause. Finally, at wit's end, through a friend's advice I decided to try acupuncture to help regulate my digestion, sleep, and stress. The treatments, the use of Chinese herbal medicine and changes in my diet helped me immensely. I was amazed of how great I felt and through more and more research and testing, my acupuncturist and I had figured out I was suffering from Celiac Disease, an autoimmune disorder. It was in 2003, after 12 years of working in corporate America, that I decided to take a giant leap of faith and follow my passion to pursue a career in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to help others.

I worked onboard a cruise ship treating thousands of patients from all over the world, I couldn't be more grateful that I made that leap.  After the pandemic hit, I moved to Utah and started working at Anodyne of Alpine.   I am both empathetic and compassionate, and dedicated to bringing health and healing to my patients. Having additional training in Integrative Functional Medicine, I incorporate the best of both Eastern and western medicine giving my patients the empowerment to make the best choices for their health.

Sincerely,

Trish
