He completed his general surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), followed by fellowships in hand & microsurgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, and plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami Hospital.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in general surgery, plastic surgery, and hand surgery through the American Board of Surgery. Furthermore, he is trained in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Samaha is an active member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association. His contributions to the medical field have earned him recognition, including the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) award.

As an ardent advocate for the advancement of cosmetic plastic surgery, he has contributed extensively to the scientific community through numerous published scientific articles and textbook chapters. He serves as a peer-reviewer for esteemed journals such as Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery, where he evaluates and provides expert feedback on cutting-edge research and surgical innovations before they are disseminated.
