My goal is to take care of people with a variety of ocular diseases. I strongly believe that vision is one of the most precious senses, and am excited to continue devoting myself to preventing vision loss and restoring vision. Career aspirations for me include continuing to improve as a physician/surgeon, taking care of people less fortunate, and educating the future generation of ophthalmologists.

Will I go blind after looking at the eclipse?
You likely will not have any permanent damage to your eyes from looking at the eclipse for such a short time. The only way to check for damage is to have an examination by an eye care provider. Floaters often get better over time, but it depends on the cause. It is recommended that you see an eye care specialist. READ MORE
Temporary blindness for 7mins
This is concerning for a condition called amaurosis fugax. It could mean that there was a stroke in your eye. There could be other reasons too which would be able too be determined with an examination.
