About

Dr. Tia McLaughlin, is a leading clinical pharmacist who grew up near York, PA.  After her post graduate residency, she spent the majority of her pharmacy career as a Director of Pharmacy in the hospital inpatient rehabilitation setting.  She specializes in medication reconciliation, antimicrobial stewardship, and patients with diabetes and chronic disease states. With a passion for the medical field and an unwavering commitment to her specialty and high quality patient care, Dr. Tia recognized that patients with chronic diseases or unrelenting symptoms were seeking answers and struggling to truly understand how to care for their bodies.  She personally experienced health challenges that left her feeling stuck, without answers and struggling to truly get well.  Through her pharmacy background and extended training as well as her own life experiences, she is an expert in changing the lives of her patients and clients through medication consults and deeper dives into Functional Medicine using her custom and personalized, integrative and whole body focused approach.  Dr. Tia is a prime example of a true leader in health care and she recently opened her own business called Wholistically Simple Rx, to help those wishing to effectively manage and reverse symptoms of autoimmune diseases such as Celiac, Diabetes, and more through lifestyle education and coaching support. She is passionate about each person creating their own "prescription" for their most beautiful life and together, clients receive one on one support to do so.  She is truly passionate about enhancing quality of life, reversing aging and helping those who want to transcend their mindset blocks and health concerns using many different modalities. She focuses on helping the whole body work together again as it is designed to do, similar to an orchestra playing in a great symphony. She embodies the values of clear communication, thorough education, root cause analysis and resolution built on a foundation of trust.  She helps open minded clients seeking sustainable symptom improvement, weight loss, and those desiring a cleaner, toxin free lifestyle using food as medicine and environment/lifestyle adjustments to promote optimal health.  She has additional education in gluten free, autoimmune paleo, whole30, and clean eating lifestyles which has helped those with Celiac and autoimmune diseases to reclaim their health a different way. She supports the profession of pharmacy in many ways and looks forward to the future of health-care through inspired, empowered, lifestyle education and health coaching movements. Dr. Tia is commonly known as a life guide who walks with and supports patients and clients on their own health journey to reach their best, highest, healthiest version of themselves.
