Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Cristina Crouse, who serves patients in Westlake Village, California.

A top rated Westlake Village chiropractor, Dr. Crouse is the Owner of Vitality Family Chiropractic, offering advanced chiropractic care to the Conejo Valley community. Her expertise extends to a diverse patient base, which includes NFL athletes, professional athletes, pro bodybuilders, runners, pregnant women, children, and infants.

With a passion for working with children evident since her early years, Dr. Crouse spent summers at church camps and gained experience in babysitting children of various ages. It’s no surprise that her dream has become a reality, with approximately one-third of Vitality Family Chiropractic’s membership consisting of children.

She specializes in the Webster Technique, a chiropractic approach tailored for pregnant women, and has dedicated hundreds of hours to training for working with children who have neuro-developmental concerns such as autism, ADHD, epilepsy, and sensory processing disorder, among others.

Dr. Crouse’s journey in healthcare was driven by personal experiences, as she struggled with chronic upper/lower back pain and constant headaches. While she adopted a holistic lifestyle that included massages, healing creams, and stretches, she found that these methods offered only temporary relief. Her quest for a more comprehensive understanding of the body led her to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Northridge.

During her undergraduate years, Dr. Crouse worked as a physical therapy aide for four years with the intention of becoming a physical therapist. Although physical therapy and other holistic practices provided some relief, her symptoms persisted. It was a fortuitous encounter with a chiropractor that transformed her life. Chiropractic care not only alleviated her physical discomfort but also had a positive impact on her overall well-being, including improved energy, sleep, and mental outlook. Driven by this transformative experience, she discovered her true calling.

Pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College of LA, Dr. Crouse remains committed to continuous education and obtaining further certifications to better serve her community.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.

Happily married, Dr. Crouse is a loving wife to her husband, Chadwick, a health enthusiast and an upstanding citizen and resident of Conejo Valley.

Valuing integrity, community, and growth, she practices what she preaches through healthy lifestyle habits. She loves to stay active by hitting the gym and outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming.
