What is the pressure point for sleep?
While AnMian is a commonly used acupuncture point at the base of the skull for insomnia, it's important to highlight that effective acupuncture treatment is never confined to just one point. Each individual's experience with insomnia is unique, and therefore, treatment must be tailored to address the specific underlying causes. For instance, trouble falling asleep may have different root causes than trouble staying asleep. Therefore, our approach to treatment involves a personalized point prescription designed to target the individual needs of each patient. By understanding the nuances of your sleep patterns and addressing the underlying imbalances through customized acupuncture treatment, we strive to provide holistic and effective care for your insomnia concerns. If you're experiencing sleep difficulties, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help you achieve restful and rejuvenating sleep. READ MORE

What do you wear for hip acupuncture?
You always want to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes to your acupuncture sessions. Some patients feel more comfortable bringing their own shorts to change into for acupuncture on their hip but I also provide gowns. Often patients undress to the level of their under garments, put on a gown, and I will drape them with a sheet in order to get the points I need while protecting their modesty. Some patients don't want the gown and are comfortable just being in their underwear. I don't mind either way as my goal is to make the patient as comfortable as possible. Courtney Winter, L.Ac. Courtney is absolutely fantastic. I've been seeing her for a couple of weeks and my pain has been cut in half! I only tried acupuncture out of desperation because nothing else worked. I'm so glad I did. I can't wait to continue treatment knowing I feel better every time.
