  • How do you fix scars on your face from plastic surgery?

There are several ways to revise scars on the face, both surgical and non-surgical methods for this. I would recommend consulting with your surgeon to discuss. READ MORE

  • How long will my ears be numb after otoplasty?

It is sometimes possible for the ears to be numb post otoplasty. However, this should continue to improve over the coming months. If you are noticing any numbness, make sure you notify your surgeon right away, so you can both track the symptom to make sure you are improving. If you do not improve, that may warrant further treatment. READ MORE

  • How long does breast plastic surgery last?

This depends on what type of breast surgery you are doing. It can be as quick as one hour, or as long as several hours. Reconstructive surgery with flaps can be even longer! READ MORE

  • How long does it take for swelling to go down after neck lift surgery?

This is a tough question to answer because it can vary between patients. Sometimes swelling can continue to increase even 3-5 days after surgery, and it is variable for how long it persists. If you notice a rapidly expanding fluid collection, or your swelling is failing to improve, then I would reach out to your surgeon and notify them of this issue. Sometimes medication can be prescribed that can help with swelling. READ MORE

  • Do you get a facelift under local anesthesia?

While this is possible, I would not advise doing so. It is best to perform a facelift under general anesthesia, or at least under IV sedation. READ MORE

  • How can I change my nose shape?

Rhinoplasty and filler are both options for correcting shape. READ MORE

  • Is ear plastic surgery permanent?

When approaching any medical procedure, especially surgery, you should have the attitude that the result may be permanent. Revision surgery is always possible, but it may not always be able to correct the primary surgery if it went poorly. READ MORE

  • How long do the results of a facelift last?

It depends on the technique of the facelift. If it is a skin-only facelift, the results will not last very long. If it is a deep plane facelift, the results could last for a decade or more. So it depends on the technique used. READ MORE

  • How long does rhinoplasty take to heal fully?

With primary rhinoplasty, one can expect swelling for up to one year or more. However, results will typically be apparent after a few months, though final results will be at approximately the one year mark. With secondary rhinoplasty, the swelling can be much longer in duration, up to two years or more. READ MORE
