What helps pain after chiropractic adjustment?
It all depends on what your condition is and what kind of pain you are experiencing. If you are feeling more sore, a brisk walk and drinking extra water will help post adjustment- especially if it is your first adjustment or first in a while. READ MORE
Is a massage or chiropractor better for hip pain?
It depends on what your personal goals are for movement with that hip and how it affects your lifestyle. A massage will likely feel good but won’t address the root cause for your pain. But that also depends on the provider you see; same with a chiropractor. A chiropractor is more likely to address the root cause for your pain and a very good chiropractor will educate you and empower you with that knowledge and help address sustainable movement habits to get you moving without pain. When combined with other modalities that help offload the affected muscles (the ones that tighten to protect your spine), decompress tissue neurology (sensitize the nerve signals from the nerve that go through right muscles) and strengthen the muscles/address root dysfunction of a bulging disc, chiropractic is incredibly effective for a bulging disc. Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.
