About

Dr. Paichun (Patrick) Huang's upbringing took place in the Clear Lake region of Houston. He achieved a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch, which is now recognized as The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.

Even before becoming a dentist, Dentistry had always been Dr. Huang's deep-rooted passion. He holds the esteemed title of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), signifying his exceptional expertise in the field. It's worth noting that only around 6 percent of general dentists in the United States and Canada have been bestowed with the honor of AGD Fellowship. To attain this distinction, Dr. Huang successfully completed more than 300 courses, accumulated over 500 credit hours of continuing education, and surpassed the challenge of a board certification-level examination. Out of the extensive 500 hours of CE courses, Dr. Huang dedicated over 200 hours to the study of dental implants.

Furthermore, Dr. Huang co-authored a publication titled "Relationship between lateral guidance and complication incidence in single implant-supported posterior crowns" in The Journal of The Kyushu Dental Society alongside Professor Dr. Shin-ichi Masumi, D.D.S., Ph.D. from Kyushu Dental College. Additionally, he earned a PHD degree from Kyushu Dental College in Japan.

Dr. Huang's accomplishments extend to being a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and presenting numerous posters on dental implants at ICOI meetings. He received training from Dr. Kevin J. Owoc, DMD, MSD, FAAID, DABOI, an esteemed figure in oral implantology and the founder and director of the Owoc Institute, located in White Oak, Pennsylvania.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Huang indulges in hobbies such as biking, paddling, and backpack traveling, often enjoying these activities with his family.
