Their staff of skilled and experienced medical professionals are specially trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems as well as treating patients who may be suffering from multiple conditions.

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Abbas obtained his medical degree from the University of Damascus School of Medicine in Syria. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his Internship in internal medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, before completing an additional Pre-Residency Fellow training in Neurosurgery/Neurocritical care at the same educational venue.

In order to further his training, he later returned to the University of New Mexico, completing a residency in Neurology and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

On a professional level, Dr. Abbas is a proud member of the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience, the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Neurological Association, the American Physician Scientists Association, and the American Medical Association.
