He has over 25 years of healthcare experience, including critical care and emergency department nursing. His doctoral research, focused on removing practice restrictions for Advanced Practice Providers, has had a significant impact on healthcare legislation in Tennessee. As the Director of Government Affairs for the Tennessee Nurses Association, he represents over 115,000 Registered Nurses and 20,000 Advanced Practice Nurses, advocating for positive change in the industry.
