Nurse Practitioner
Denver Denver CO, 80219About
Hello! I'm Caroline Nicholson, a dedicated Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in Denver, Colorado. With a heart for healthcare and hands ready to heal, I bring a wealth of experience from my time as a medical assistant to a Registered Nurse and RN Case Manager in a hospital setting.
My journey in nursing began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Platt College, Aurora, CO, and I further honed my skills with a Master of Science in Family Practice Nurse Practitioner from Post University. I'm all about making sure you feel heard and cared for, whether it's through managing your chronic conditions or helping you recover from acute illnesses.
I believe in the power of knowledge and will ensure you understand your health inside and out. From physical exams to personalized treatment plans, I've got you covered. Plus, I'm always up-to-date with the latest medical practices to provide you with top-notch care.
Your well-being is my priority, and I'm here to support you every step of the way – whether it's prescribing the right medication or guiding you through lifestyle changes for better health. And when it comes to navigating the healthcare maze, consider me your advocate for ensuring your care meets your needs without letting insurance coverage limitations stand in the way.
I'm passionate about teaching and mentoring too, so rest assured that our team is trained to deliver excellence in clinical practice for your satisfaction. If you're looking for compassionate care tailored to your unique health journey, let's connect and start working together towards your best health!
Treatment philosophy I believe that each individual is unique and deserves to be treated as such. My goal is to support you in taking the time to truly understand yourself, your strengths and challenges so that you can make informed decisions about the direction of your life. I’m not interested in throwing a bunch of pills at you and calling it a day, but I want to help you understand what’s going on with your body and mind so that we can come up with some strategies that work for you. I want to help my patients find a way of feeling empowered in their healthcare journey.
Treatment approach
•I very much believe in patient-centered care. I believe that listening to patients, providing them with the necessary education about their conditions, and offering emotional support within a safe environment is pivotal for patient health. •It's about more than just treating symptoms; it's about forming a partnership where each, and every patient, feels valued and empowered to take part in their healthcare decisions. Whether it is an acute illness or a chronic condition, all patients are different, as well as their journey, and I enjoy getting to know each patient, as a whole. *Please Note: I currently do not prescribe pain or stimulant medications at this time.*
