Get to know Family Physician Dr. Rashmi Srikanth, who serves patients in Columbus, New Jersey.

Dr. Srikanth is a board-certified family physician in practice at Capital Health Primary Care – Columbus. With over six years of professional excellence in her field, she offers a vast repertoire of expertise, including integrative medicine, women’s health, and all acute and chronic conditions.

Capital Health Primary Care – Columbus is a group practice led by experienced physicians who offer services to children and adults to help prevent illness, handle everyday medical needs, manage chronic health issues, and provide care that is specific to women and older adults.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Srikanth completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, followed by her medical degree at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She went on to complete her residency in family medicine at the Hunterdon Medical Center.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Srikanth has devoted her time to leadership and community service roles with local and international organizations, including Healthy Families for Life, Tar Wars — American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Spanish Speakers (LISTOS), Adakum Educational Foundation, Experiential Learning International, Himalayan Health Exchange Program, Vencemos Barreras Juntos “Overcoming Barriers Together,” and the American Medical Association (AMA).

In her spare time, she enjoys Indian classical dancing, singing, and doing fun projects with her children.
