Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. Paul A. Stewart, who serves patients in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A reputable medical professional in the field of pulmonology, Dr. Stewart founded Pulmonary Associates, Inc. in 1978. He currently sees patients at the Wellness Way location in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as inpatients primarily at Valley Hospital Medical Center.

The multidisciplinary team of board-certified specialty physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, X-ray technicians, and administrative staff at Pulmonary Associates, Inc. are committed to providing the best, most efficient pulmonary, allergy, and sleep disorder care in Southern Nevada. They provide care for patients in a private practice setting, or who are hospitalized in acute care or long-term care facilities in the Las Vegas Valley. They also provide services in the hospital on a consulting basis, managing patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and those who need ventilator support.

Graduating with his medical degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine in 1973, Dr. Stewart went on to further his training. He served his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 1974 and 1975, respectively. He then returned to California to complete his fellowship in pulmonary disease at UC Davis Medical Center in 1978.

With over five decades of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Locally, Dr. Stewart is affiliated with a number of hospitals and medical centers, including University Medical Center, Valley Hospital Medical Center, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals – Rose de Lima Campus, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, North Vista Hospital, MountainView Hospital, and Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
